Tea With Intention
Plants always produce more chemistries than they need merely for their own health; they are released into plant communities and ecosystems to maintain them. As with so many other aspects of maintaining ecosystems, plantssense when members of their community are ill, and they offerup chemistries to heal them. These chemistries are either sent through underground fungal or mycelial networks to where they are needed, or chemical cues call the ill animal or insect to the plant who needs it. Of Course, plants, and their chemistries, do even more. They are intimately interwoven into the lives of all organisms on Earth, and their roles are still more complex. They exist not for themselves alone; they create and maintain the community of life on Earth, they produce the chemistries all life needs to live, and they heal other living organisms when they are ill.

Smells and taste are hardwired into our memories. The mission of the teas
we blend is bringing people and family together. We believe through slowing down time we set each other up for this great opportunity to create a renewed sense of community. When you share tea with another, you are
sharing a passion for taking in life, for stopping to enjoy the small moments
of life. You are taking someone into your world, and sharing in their world.
You are in a space of sharing memories, thoughts, and feelings. All of which
are evoked by your favorite tea.
It is about the connection you make when preparing tea, when making tea,
and your intentions for having tea with yourself or with another. When you
take tea with another, they are your family, your friends. You can discover
each other’s visions and tap into their dreams. Tea brings this alchemy into
place and sets the space with intention, for tea causes time to stop for a while. When you tap into the moment, and you are present with your cup and company, you then feel into each sensation that yourtea brings.
The tea ceremony brings in full intention, where the whole environment
and people are there to experience sacred time together, a way to commune
and engage with all your senses, wrapped up like a secret place you go to
unwind and heal.
Tea time is healing time.
About our tea
Taráz started out doing medicinal teas back in 2013 to heal bodily issues and was able to restore his health all through the use of herbs. He began to share these with friends as many were all dealing with similar stomach issues. Therefore healing teas that taste really good are the foundation of Taráz Teas. Taráz then brought back his Persian tea roots and combined traditional black teas and other tasty teas and spices for the average person to fall in love with. Black and green teas would be blended with combinations that haven’t been attempted as Taráz was going for the next best thing to coffee. Our combinations are truly unique and are sure to give you an experience that you haven’t had making loose leaf tea. Our tea is generally very hard to mess up when steeping, so you can generally use 1-2 tbsps to get the prefered cup of bold tea. “Bold” “Deep” “a meal in a cup” are things people have said of our tea so the idea is that they have lots of complexity and body.
Koofteas are Taráz Teas speciality. They are blends for coffee lovers. He loves coffee but doesn’t drink it due to the acid and caffeine content. So we made a variety of Koofteas to give you a healthier choice over coffee. Almond, coconut and vanilla are Taráz’s favorite flavors… You will find this being the familiar aroma when you sit down with a warm cup of our tea.
A little bit about Taráz
Taráz worked as a dance videographer before starting his tea journey. Drinking tea growing up around Persians and with lots of diversity and culture, tea became one of those things that stuck out as a way to connect with others, for connection is the heart of being human. Taráz loves to engage with others, making food, making lattes and nurturing guests. He loves to share his love and passions with all who are near. If you are in his company he will share both good food and good tea. He has said these are the two things that he came to this planet to experience!
